Teen Art Studio

Monday, March 6, 2023

Modeled after traditional art ateliers, these classes teach teen students a variety of important classical drawing and painting techniques. By mastering basic art concepts such as line, shape or form, and value, as well as accurate drawing and painting skills, students will be able to draw or paint anything they wish, building their own art portfolio in the process. Students will work at their own pace and skill level, building from basic to advanced, complex concepts, under the guidance of an experienced art instructor. This class is a good opportunity for students that learn outside of the traditional school day. All materials are provided, but students are encouraged to bring their own art board, if they have one. Unfinished projects may be brought home to complete, and homework will occasionally be assigned. For teen art students of all skill levels. Museum members are eligible for discounts on classes.
