Sergeant's Promotions- Montgomery & Gaddis

The Moses Lake Police Department is pleased to announce that Officers Beau Montgomery and Dean Gaddis have been promoted to the rank of sergeant. Beau Montgomery and Dean Gaddis were part of a group of officers who recently participated in a competitive examination. They will replace Sergeant Steve Miers who recently retired from the department, and Sergeant Mike Williams who was promoted to Captain. Beau Montgomery has been a Moses Lake police officer since 2003. He has primarily worked patrol, however, had been assigned as a school resource officer in the past. Beau is currently a team leader on the regional tactical response team. Beau also serves as a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Army Reserve, and is currently working on his master's degree. Dean Gaddis has been a Moses Lake police officer since 1987. Dean is an accomplished officer who has worked a variety of assignments with the department, to include: patrol officer, safe streets officer, detective, INET detective, and corporal. Dean was also assigned to the regional tactical response team, and served on the U.S. Marshall's task force
