Public Safety Recognition Award- Moses Lake Masonic Lodge

Gordon Harris
Public Safety Recognition Award Chairman

Moses Lake Masonic Lodge, Number 174, F&AM

Dear Gordon,

Dean Gaddis is an outstanding police officer. For the past 30 years, Officer Gaddis has provided excellent service to the citizens of Moses Lake. During his career, Officer Gaddis has served in a variety of assignments which include patrol and investigations. Most recently, Officer Gaddis has been assigned to the street crime unit where he has focused his efforts on eradicating the criminal activity that plagues our community; aggressively pursuing persons who commit burglary, theft, gang violence, and those involved in the illegal possession or distribution of narcotics. Officer Gaddis is also a member of the U.S Marshall's Violent Offender Task Force; part of a group of officers who are assigned to actively seek out criminals who are wanted for felony crimes.

Officer Gaddis is a dedicated officer who has an incredible work ethic; choosing to work just as hard now as he did when he first started his law enforcement career. Officer Gaddis can be counted on to consistently model and demonstrate professionalism, integrity, compassion, and service; the core values of the Moses Lake Police Department.

I know that I speak for other department members when I say that Officer Gaddis is most deserving of this award. It is my honor to nominate him for the significant contribution he has made to public safety.

Respectfully submitted
