July is Park and Recreation Month

Since 1985, America has celebrated July as the nation's official Park and Recreation Month. This July, we want everyone talking about what they love about Moses Lake Parks & Recreation and why parks and recreation are so vital in our lives!

We want to hear from YOU! Use this "I Love Moses Lake Parks & Recreation because" (PDF) poster and tell us what you love. Fill in the poster and take your picture with it, or a photo of you enjoying your favorite parks & recreation program to share what you love about Parks and Recreation. Bring your poster, photo and separate contact information to the Parks and Recreation Office, where we will add them to our "Share the Love" wall. Your entry can be posted to the Moses Lake Parks & Recreation Facebook page, or e-mail copies of the poster and your photos via email Parks and Recreation. We will choose one image to be featured on the cover of our next brochure!
