Admission Fees

Daily Admission Changes due to COVID-19

This season the Surf ‘n Slide Water Park will have a maximum capacity of 1,000 people per day to meet Washington State Health Department COVID-19 guidelines. It is recommended this year that you reserve your spot in advance to ensure that you can enjoy the water park when you choose. If you are not registered, you will be required to sign each individual waiver each time you enter, so please use the online reservation system. Online reservations will be available until 15 minutes prior to opening each day. After that we will only be accepting in-person transactions until we reach our daily capacity. You can make reservations online up to a week in advance.

Please note that the Surf ‘n Slide Water Park will be following all of the Washington State Health Department COVID-19 guidelines. This means that some features may not be available this season. Please browse the the links on the left to learn more. We need your help by following these rules so that we can stay open. All patrons 2 years and older will be required to have a mask and baggy or something equivalent to keep your mask clean while you swim. Masks are required to be worn by all patrons 2 years and older any time you are indoors including the lobby, locker rooms and bathrooms or when social distancing of 6-feet cannot be maintained. Once you are outside you can remove your mask so long as you can social distance from others outside of your party. Masks are not expected to be worn while swimming. When waiting in line to enter the facility, slides, Flowrider or concessions, please use the markers on the ground and maintain social distancing.

You are encouraged to bring your own lounge chair. This year, we will have limited chairs available in accordance with the guidelines allowing us to open. In addition, the picnic shelter this year will not be available as that has been converted into a staff break area to accommodate social distancing. We will still have benches and tables spread out throughout the park.

The VIP gate will be available for use for all online reservations and season pass holders. Additionally, you can enter through the lobby at anytime.

Please cancel or change your reservation if you or your family are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19. You can do this by contacting the Surf ‘n Slide Water Park lobby at 764-3842, Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services at 509-764-3805 or e-mail us at info@cityofml.com prior to opening on the day of your reservation. A $5 processing fee will be charged, which will be for your entire family rather than each individual. Once we open there will be no refunds on daily admission. NO EXCEPTIONS.

COVID-19 symptoms include: a fever 100.4 F or higher, chills, cough, shortness of breath/difficulty breathing, new loss of taste or smell, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea.

Season Pass Changes Due to COVID-19

As a Season Pass holder, you are encouraged to reserve your spot by registering online. This will be at the same place where everyone else reserves, however, your daily admission fee will be waived when your account has an active Season Pass membership. Anyone who does not have a Season Pass membership will incur the daily admission fee. Please note you can still just show up, like a normal year, however, you may be turned away if we have reached our capacity in online reservations that day. If you are not registered, you will be required to sign each individual waiver each time you enter, so please consider using the online reservation system. Please understand that if you register your season pass for a day at the water park and do not show up, you will be charged a $10 fee. Your season pass will also be deactivated, and you will not be able to enjoy the benefits of your season pass until the fee is paid. We are doing everything we can this year to provide the water park to our community and offer an affordable option with season passes. If all season pass holders decided to book every single day for the summer and never show up, it would block our daily admission swimmers from being able to enjoy the pool and increase rates for future water park seasons. So please be mindful of your reservations. Online reservations will be available until 15 minutes prior to opening each day. After that, we will only be accepting in-person transactions until we reach our daily capacity. You can make reservations online up to a week in advance.
