1. What is the season for the Surf 'n Slide Water Park?

The Surf 'n Slide Water Park opens in late May and closes in early September. Check the Hours page for more specific information.

2. When and where can I get my Season Pass picture taken?

You can pick up your season pass and have your picture taken only in the Surf 'n Slide Water Park lobby. We encourage season pass holders to come on the following days when we are not open to avoid slowing down the lines. We will create passes during open hours, however we may ask for your patience if the lines are incredibly long.

3. What methods of payment are accepted at the Surf 'n Slide Water Park (concession stand included)?

We accept: cash, check, Visa, Mastercard and Discover. Check should be made out to "City of Moses Lake."

4. Is the picnic shelter available to rent?

Yes. You can reserve the picnic shelter for $20 per hour during open hours here.

The picnic shelter is the only BBQ in the facility. You will need to provide your own charcoal, lighter fluid and match if you choose to grill. Reserving the picnic shelter does not allow anyone to skip the line on busy days, so make sure you show up early to avoid waiting in line during your reserved time. Picnic shelter rentals DO NOT include admission into the water park. 

5. Do I have to pay for admission even if I'm not going to swim?

Yes. There is an admission fee for anyone who enters the facility.

6. Do any of the features at the Surf 'n Slide Water Park have height or weight restrictions?

Yes. There are height and weight requirements specified by the engineers who created these attractions to ensure your safety. The height and weight requirements are as follows: Slides - 48" tall and max weight of 250 lbs, Body Boarding - 42" & Flowboarding (stand-up) - 52". There is no weight restriction for the Flowrider. Life jackets or any sort of flotation device may not be worn or used on the Flowrider or the slides. All Flowboarding (stand-up) riders must sign a waiver in the Surf Shack.  Parent/guardian permission is required for youth under the age of 18 to participate on the Flowrider in the stand-up position. You may do so by signing the back of the Flowrider waiver. 

7. Does the Surf 'n Slide Water Park have lockers?

Yes. We have coin operated lockers that cost $0.25 per use.

8. Are towels and life jackets available at the Surf 'n Slide Water Park?

We have towels for sale in the Surf Shop. Lifejackets available to be borrowed if available, however you're welcome to bring your own.

9. What type of food and drinks are available at the concession stand?

The concession stand is operated by Tacos Mi Casa. They have a variety of items including tacos, burritos, churros, candy, sundaes, ice cream cones, popcorn, chips, hot dogs, corn dogs, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, chicken sandwiches, chicken strip baskets, soft pretzels, nachos, fries, onion rings and more...

10. Can I bring food into the Surf 'n Slide Water Park?

Yes, food is allowed. However, no glass containers, no alcohol, and no barbeque grills.

11. When can I call to ask a question?

Anytime we're open we're available to answer the phone. Our phone is continuously ringing so we schedule one person every day to do nothing but answer the phone. If you don't get through at first, that means we're currently helping someone. Please keep calling until you're able to reach us. 

12. Do you offer discounts for large groups?

No, however you can purchase a punch card in our lobby to save $1 per admission. Punch cards have 10 punches per card and can be used by anyone of the age category of the card. 

13. Why do you want to know my zip code and if I paid to stay somewhere?

This data helps create our reports to show accurate numbers of where our guests come from as we receive grant funding for tourism. No other information is kept for this report.
