September 5, All Day @ Take Time Massage
The Smith Martin Building
Lavender Baby Massage is set up as a four-week course to support you and your infant in the process of learning loving touch massage and to have the support to continue this technique as your baby grows. You will receive handouts and supporting materials at each class. Loving touch with infant massage provides a special time of communication that fosters love, compassion and respect. It engages the mind and improves sensory awareness and is stimulating as well as relaxing. It can help your baby or child to sleep deeper and more soundly, relieve discomfort from teething, provide pain management, relieve congestion, gas and colic, and it also provides sensory stimulation. We will also address special health issues, learning your infant’s behavior cues, techniques for the growing baby, essential oils, starting signs for early communication, and the benefits and use of lullabies and music.
