Temporary Locations

Use this Temporary Locations form for businesses not operating from a permanent location. Examples include a short-duration sale at another location such as a car dealership having a weekend sale at a grocery store parking lot.

Carnival License

Use this Carnival License form for carnivals, circuses, and road shows.

Mobile & Street Food Vendors

Use this Mobile and Street Food Vendors form for mobile or street food vendors. This would include selling or delivering food from: a vehicle, motorized conveyance, non-motorized cart or temporary structure upon privately or publicly owned property including any public street, sidewalk, alley, or public way of the City. 

Taxi Cab Drivers

Use this Taxi Cab Drivers form for taxi screening. Taxi screening is required annually for all taxi cab drivers. An authorization of Taxi Driver Form must be completed by the business owner and submitted with the screening application.

Background Check

This Background Check form  is required for any business owner and/or employee for which a background check is required as part of the business licensing process in accordance to Moses Lake Municipal Code Chapter 5.02. This will include business applicants engaged in the following: solicitors, pawnbrokers, secondhand dealers, and taxi drivers. Completed background check applications and payment need to be submitted to the Finance Department, 401 S. Balsam Street, prior to fingerprinting. Fingerprinting is available at The Moses Lake Police Department located at 411 S. Balsam Street on Thursday afternoons between the hours of 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., excluding holidays. Please note, background checks for business licensing purposes require a minimum 14 day processing period.
